In connection with the First Renewable Energy Award conferring ceremony, ANERT in association with CED, is organizing a one week long “Akhsya Urja Ulsav” – Kerala Renewable Energy Festival (KERF 2018) from 21st to 28th February 2018 ant Thiruvananthapuram.
One of the major activity planned under the KREF 2018 is a Renewable Energy Exhibition to be held from 24th to 28th February 2018 at the Sooryakanthi Fair Ground, Kanakakunnu Palace, a prime location in Thiruvananthapuram City.
The main objective of the exhibition is to disseminate and popularize relevant information on various aspects and current trends in the technologies innovations in renewable energy systems which include: Solar power, Wind power, Ocean Energy, Hybrid Systems, Waste to Energy Solutions, Solar Storage batteries, Smart grids and Metering for Renewable Energy Systems, Clean cooking energy solutions, Other renewable energy sources, Algae, Biofuel etc., Innovations in popularizing Renewable Energy Systems etc. The public/students/practitioners watching the exhibition will be very much benefited by familiarizing themselves with the state of the art in renewable energy technologies and opportunists for installing various technologies in their home/office.
The Centre for Environment and Development, will be the coordinating agency for implementing the program. We expect more than 50 stalls on various renewable energy systems and agencies promoting renewable energy and around 1 lakh visitors from all over Kerala as well some participants of Kerala Renewable Energy Congress from other states.
