ANERT 2MW Kuzhalmannam Solar Power Plant Project

ANERT 2MW Kuzhalmannam Solar PV Project is the first Independent Power Producer (IPP) Solar Power Plant Project in the State of Kerala developed by ANERT. It was developed at ANERT owned site at Kuzhalmannam, Palakkad District, Kerala. The 2MW PV Plant is the highest capacity PV plant installed by ANERT. 

The Project was commissioned on 9th December 2016 and the CoD (Date of Commercial Operation) was achieved on 19th December 2016. 

By 2025, the PV Project has completed more than 8 years of successful operation, and the Plant has generated and supplied more than 20.9 million units of electricity to the KSEBL grid. The project is undergoing successful operation with a dedicated O&M team at the site. 

In Jan-2024, Kerala State Regulatory Commission (KSERC) approved a tariff of ₹2.69 per kWh for the Power Plant based on ANERT tariff Petition OP No. 02/2023 (KSERC Order dt. 30-01-2024) and ANERT is earning revenue as IPP.

• A Solar PV Power Plant with a dedicated Solar Radiation Resource Assessment Station (SRRA).
