ANERT has submitted a proposal to UNIDO against their first call for proposals under the A2D (Accelerate-to-Demonstrate) Facility. This proposal involves generation of hydrogen from water hyacinth through a biomass to methane to hydrogen process. The proposal is for USD 5.6 million (≈ ₹47 crore). The project proposal has gone through a few rounds of review and a final decision is awaited.
