The government is implementing various projects under the leadership of ANERT to improve energy production from the axial energy sector, including solar energy. The goal of the state is to have 1000 MW of solar power by 2021 through the Energy Kerala Mission. With the aim of bringing knowledge and awareness about the vast potential of axial energy to the local self-government bodies, the workshop is being organized under the name Anert Solar Tejas. The workshop is being held in collaboration with Desabhimani on the theme of the role of nuclear energy sector in the reconstruction of Kerala.People's representatives including Ministers, MPs, MLAs, Mayors, Panchayat Presidents and Standing Committee Chairman of Kerala are also participating in the workshop.
