Innovation plays a key role in indigenous technology development. In order to promote Innovation, R&D, Manufacturing and developing Bio-energy at the State and National levels, Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA), Lodhi Road, New Delhi and Sardar Swaran Singh National Institute of Bio Energy (SSS-NIBE), Kapurthala, Punjab signed an MoU for giving awards to innovators, encouraging them for doing excellence in Bio-energy sector.
