Launch of free accident insurance for renewable energy technician

The Parishad model improved wood stoves promoted by Anert are highly fuel efficient and make the kitchen smoke free. Biogas plants enable waste-to-source treatment as well as energy production.
Behind the successful implementation of these two projects are the renewable energy technicians who have been trained by Anert. Their work has greatly helped the state in terms of fuel efficiency, health care and environmental cleanliness in the domestic sector.
From this year onwards, the scheme is being implemented to provide free insurance coverage to renewable energy technicians working in Akshaya Energy sector who have been approved by Anert. 3 lakhs as accident insurance amount and Rs.30,000/- as medical expenses in this scheme. This scheme is implemented through United India Insurance Company, a public sector organization working in the field of insurance.
