Shri K Krishnankutty, Hon'ble Minister for Electricity, inaugurated the state level Renewable Energy Skill Development Course jointly conducted by Anert and KASE (Kerala Academy for Skill Excellence) in collaboration with educational institutions on Rooftop solar PV system.
Minister of Electricity Shri K Krishnankutty said that many jobs will be created in the field of axial energy. The minister also requested more students to acquire job skills and enter the horticulture sector and related fields of work. The Minister was speaking at the State Level Inauguration of the Axial Energy Skill Development Course jointly conducted by Anart and KASE (Kerala Academy for Skill Excellence) on Rooftop solar PV system in collaboration with educational institutions.
The minister conducted the opening ceremony of the course to be started at Thrikkakara Bharat Mata College online. A 30-hour online course is currently being launched. Through this course the students will be exposed to the technology of operation, power generation and maintenance of solar panels. Candidates who are students of higher education institutions and have certain qualifications can apply for the course.Students who are pursuing their studies in Bachelor's Degree in Science, Diploma Engineering and BVoc Renewable Energy courses can currently be a part of the course. The course includes an opportunity to interact with trainers, practice conducting technical tests, and visits to solar industrial facilities. Successful completion of the course is awarded with a certificate jointly approved by Case and Anert.
The aim of the course is to improve the level of human resources of the state in a manner suitable for the newly created employment opportunities in the solar power generation sector.
Anert CEO Anish S. Prasad welcomed the event, Bharat Mata College Principal Dr. Shiney Palaty and KASE MD Premkumar IAS offered the vote of thanks.
