Shri. VK Prashanth MLA, Energy Department Secretary Dr B Ashok IAS, Anert CEO Anish S Prasad, General Manager Jayachandran Nair, Technical Manager J Manoharan, Additional Transport Commissioner Pranoj Shankar and others were present.
This is a scheme to lease electric vehicles to government institutions and departments through Anart. In the first phase, Anert has already managed to get more than 100 vehicles on the roads. This project is being implemented in collaboration with EESL, a central government organization.
The aim of the project is to implement fully electric vehicle policy at the government level by coordinating more departments and institutions in the coming days. Along with this, various departments such as the Department of Industry, Department of Culture, Local Self-Government, Youth Commission and Water Authority are currently part of this project.
